As our expansion space window sign mentions, new chapters are indeed opening for Appletree Books and affording us new opportunities. September will see us using part of our new space for the Friday, September 23rd Heights Music Hop, sponsored by FutureHeights, as we host two different music groups in the evening. Another first for us is a trunk show for Nagada, an Egyptian clothing line presented by Nina Setrakian, and we will also experience Cleveland Book Week as a first-time vendor at the Cleveland Flea on Saturday, September 10th. We hope you will be able to join us for many of our first-time adventures!
Our store windows in September features Heights Community Congress and the 39th Annual Heights Home and Garden Tour. HCC’s mission is to be an advocate of social justice, a monitor of fair housing practices and a facilitator for building strong diverse communities .
