Appletree Books

Appletree Books, an independent bookstore, offers an eclectic, well curated selection of new book titles in multiple genres for both children and adults. The store is located in the Cedar Fairmount neighborhood at 12419 Cedar Road in the historic Heights Center building, up the hill from Cleveland’s University Circle. Established in 1975, we are excited to celebrate our 40th anniversary this year!

We seek to offer books that transport readers to other places, both visually and verbally, and aim to introduce beautifully illustrated and interesting books to our customers.

We feature greeting cards, journals, letterpress cards and notecards in addition to puzzles, bookends, candles and small gift items in an intimate, warm space in the historic Heights Center building.
